Gawler
River flood Following rains in excess of 100mm across the greater Adelaide area, the Gawler River waters from converging North Para and South Para rivers, broke its bank, just north of Winckel Bridge These photos are a few taken over 5-6 hours The River broke its bank and made its way around its dried up ancient course. The area in question has depths upto approx 10 metres deep. Waters rose to 1 metre from "gully" capacity. |
